Updated Hinge On The Yakima EXO SwingBase With Gear Locker

Question:
Ive read that the original hinge system was a problem and that Yakima is aware of it. The updated design has the hinge spring no longer connecting to the small hole in the plastic hinge pivot/mounting post, but rather to a metal disc slipped over the post. Does the version you are selling have the updated hinge design as shown in photo?

This is a great choice, I love the versatility that the Yakima EXO SwingBase with GearLocker Enclosed Cargo Carrier - 2" Hitches - 10 Cubic Feet, part # Y62VR, offers. I reached out to our Product Manager for Yakima and he has been told all of our future shipments will come with the updated hinge.
