Thanks for the reply. Here is a pic of the latching mechanism. Can I swap out the inner part with the SKS cylinder? Thanks

The Yakima RocketBox Pro 14 Rooftop Cargo Box - 14 cu ft - Black # Y07192 has the nice push button latch with SKS system you are referring to, but unfortunately there is not a retrofit for the older boxes.

To lock your box, I recommend the Replacement Lock Core and Key for SportRack Explorer Cargo Box # SR03807 along with the Replacement Bottom Lock Bracket # SR00841 and Replacement Lock Locator # TH03808. This will require a slightly different mounting but will also give you the security you are missing.

Thanks for the photo. It was a huge help and I reached out to my contact at Yakima to confirm because they couldn't tell until seeing the photo either. They apparently only used that lock mechanism for a short time so with the photo they were able to confirm that that latch is sks compatible and you would simply pry out the plastic plug of the lock housing with a small screwdriver and then you can install the Yakima Same Key System (SKS) Lock Cores (QTY 2) # Y07202. I've attached a couple videos of the installation.
