What Trailer Brakes Will Accept Replacement Magnet # BP01-225

my brakes have red wires, can I order those. Thanks

The replacement magnet, # BP01-225, fits several different brake assemblies. it fits Dexter 10 x 2-1/4 inch assemblies, Dexter 12 x 2 manual assemblies and 12 x 2 Nev-R-Adjust assemblies, 7K axles.

For a brake magnet with a red wire we have # BP01-285. It fits Hayes and AL-KO 12-1/4 x 3-1/2 inch assemblies (see product page for specific years). However, these magnets are for 9K to 12K axles.

As long as you have the correct magnet, the wire color will not matter. One of the wires will be used to power the magnet and the other is for ground.
