Question:

THE 2018 RAM 2500 THAT I AM TRYING TO FIX THE SWAY PROBLEM WITH ALREADY HAS A FACTORY ANTI SWAY BAR. WONDERING IF YOUR PRODUCT IS A HEAVIER DUTY ONE OR IS IT JUST GOING TO DO THE SAME THING AS THE FACTORY INSTALLED ONE.

The Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar # RM-1129-135 that fits your 2018 Ram 2500 with 4WD replaces the factory anti-sway bar, and just like the aftermarket anti-sway bars for motorhomes, they are an improved version of an anti-sway bar, made from 4140 chromoly steel which is a high-grade steel that means they are much stronger than standard steel.

The anti-sway bar will be an upgrade but I also highly recommend adding air bags for additional suspension enhancement. The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2598 are going to help keep your truck level and reduce the body roll which can induce sway, specifically when you have a load on your truck.

If you go with air bags, I highly recommend installing a compressor, the Firestone Air Command I # F2158, because it will be much easier to control the air pressure in the air bags with its control panel.
