Question:
I am wanting to tow a single Jet Ski and aluminum Trailer behind my 2015 Audi A3 Convertible. I only see Class 1 options, will this work for this use?

Yes you are correct that we only carry Class I hitches for this vehicle because Class II hitches are generally too heavy duty for towing with vehicles like your 2015 Audi A3. One point to check first would be the weight of the jet ski and trailer. A jet ski could weigh between 450-1100lbs and a trailer an additional 250lbs or more. I looked up the maximum trailer weight in the owners manual that let me know a trailer for your vehicle is limited to a typical Class 1 or Class 2 trailer.
A Class 1 hitch like the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Class I - 1-1/4" # C11399 would work as long as the towing capacity is not exceeded which shouldn't be a problem at 2,000lbs. In addition, you need a wiring harness, ball mount, and tow ball. Curt makes a fine wiring harness with the Powered Tail Light Converter with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C59236. I have included a review video there for more information.
Regarding the ball mount selection, you will want to measure to find out what rise or drop there is between your Audi and the trailer and then select. I have included a help article to aid in that process. I've attached our selection of ball mounts that are compatible with this hitch to review. Finally your tow ball also needs to fit the shank of the ball mount so I am happy to help further when you get to that point.
