Published 08/01/2019 >
Question:
i have a 6600 fan that does not work by manual or remote. dometic says the upgrade kit 7350 will work. they gave me the part # 807358 that is for offwhite. do you only carry the white? also if the fan is not working both ways will this kit fix it? or do i need the fan motor and blade?

It sounds like you are looking the Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent Assembly Kit # FV807357, which features the white color you're needing. This kit allows you to upgrade your older unit so that it features an automatic lift, three-speed fan, thermostat, and rain sensor like the current models but it's not designed to fix an existing unit that's not working at all.
If the motor is the problem on your 6600 model Fan-Tastic Fan (which is likely) then it would still need to be replaced and depending on the age the fan blade may need to be swapped out as well.
Since you are looking to upgrade to a better model and you would also need to replace existing components on top of that your best option is really going to be with a brand new fan assembly. This ensure a complete and working upgrade that's really not too far off in cost from replacing parts and upgrading what you currently have.
For this I highly recommend the Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent # FV807350. This thermostat-controlled roof vent features 26 settings, a rain sensor that automatically closes the vent when it gets wet, conveniently operates with a digital remote, and has a reversible fan that pushes stale air out or pulls fresh air in. I have attached a short video demonstration that you can check out as well.
