I reached out to my contact at Fan-Tastic Vent and found that your solution is to use the Fan-Tastic Vent 7350 Series Upgrade Kit # FV807359. Your model 6500 is an older version which is no longer in production. While there are no direct replacements for your wall mount control, this upgrade kit allows you to use the remote control which you can ultimately mount to your wall with the included bracket.

This upgrade kit is easily the cost of a new roof vent and so if you would like to upgrade your entire roof vent now would be the best time to do so. I recommend going with the Fan-Tastic roof vent that has a 12V fan with 10 blades, it is reversible so you can push air out or pull it in, and then it also includes a thermostat so that you don't have to keep adjusting the settings. This model comes with a manual lift # FV802250 or a powered lift # FV803350 depending on what you're needing.
