Dragging a trailer through mud, gravel, or soft sand usually means the wheel digs in or locks up. The Ark Xtreme Off-Road Swivel Trailer Jack ends that frustration with dual 6-1/2" diameter x 1-1/2" wide rubber tires that never go flat. The treaded design grips loose terrain, while sealed bearings keep the wheels tracking straight instead of wobbling or dragging. Even when you’re pushing by hand over gravel or uneven ground, this 770-lb-capacity jack rolls smooth and steady so you can position your trailer exactly where you want it.

Getting set up shouldn’t feel like an arm workout. The quick-release jack tube lets you drop the inner leg into one of three positions with a simple pull on the spring-loaded handle. That gives you 7" of lift and 5" of drop leg adjustment for a total 12" adjustment without stacking blocks or wasting time spinning the handle. Once the leg’s close to the ground, just turn the side-winding crank to fine-tune your height and get level in seconds.

Rain, road salt, and rough trails are no match for the Ark Xtreme. The square steel body adds side-load strength and keeps the tubes tight and rattle-free. A premium zinc finish rated for 600 hours of salt-spray testing guards against corrosion, and a built-in grease zerk makes it easy to keep the screw running smooth for years. This jack is designed to take the same punishment the Australian outback throws at it.

When it’s time to hit the road, the side-mount swivel pin lets you swing the jack up parallel to the trailer tongue, locking it securely out of harm’s way. The yoke latch offers five wheel positions so you can keep the assembly clear of anything bolted to your tongue. The magnetic, removable hand crank stays put while you’re raising or lowering but pops off easily to store away—less chance of it getting lost or snagged on anything while you travel.

No need for welding or drilling—this jack clamps around trailer frames 2" tall using the supplied hardware. The bracket stands 7-1/2" tall by 5-1/2" wide, with precisely spaced mounting holes for a tight, steady fit. The whole setup weighs just 25 lbs but feels rock-solid once installed, giving you the strength and stability you need without extra hassle.

This my seem an expensive choice and well it is. You can buy cheap if all you want to do is roll your trailer around on a garage floor or smooth hardened surfaces. I purchased it for soft ground, dirt, gravel etc when out camping with a smaller 1800 lb trailer to be able to position it easier. The quality of build is excellent and seems like it will stand up to a lot of punishment and use when out camping. Assembly and installation was extremely easy. The drop down feature that allows you to lower it without having to crank it all the way down is a nice touch. I read reviews, watched videos etc and they are accurate, this is a quality product, and depending on your intended use would be a great choice.
Love these jacks! I build a machine called a Cornroaster, which cooks ears of corn and there is a lot of tongue weight on the jack, it rolls and turns so easy with this jack, I couldn't be more pleased!!
Love the features of this jack, but there a few issues with it. The biggest problem is that the nut on bottom that holds the wheel assembly onto the jack comes loose all the time. If you try to tighten more, it will not rotate. I had to add a bearing/washer assembly from McMaster and a ton of grease to make it more useable. This really needs a king nut and somewhere to store the handle.
The Jack was received in a box well packed. However, the alignment pin used to fix the wheel, when lifted to the highest point, was loosely laying in the box. This pin looks like it was pressed and welded but was obviously broken. Since I needed to get underway asap, I used a screw and locknut to replace the pin and this has worked. Also, after just a couple of months, the rotational effort has grown. Meaning, it is hard to turn the wheel.
Besides these annoyances, the functionality seems to work ok.
Not sure if I would buy this product again or not.
this jack is as good at it appeared when I purchased it. I was initially concerned the handle might fly off going down the road, but so far is has stayed put whenever I forgot to remove it before entering the roadway... which was every time! I recommend mounting a handle at your trailer hitch and you won't have problems pulling your boat around on flat pavement areas by hand. I highly recommend adding this to your rig!
It’s a very nice Jack. The only thing that could be improved is the bearings coming already mounted in the wheels. I had no issue installing them but the average person may have an issue. Works great
This trailer jack was just what we needed to replace the factory installed jack on our sport utility trailer. We tow our trailer behind our RV for monthly camping trips and we frequently need to disconnect the trailer and manually move it to a spot on our campsite. Moving the trailer manually on grass or gravel was almost impossible with the factory installed jack. After installing this new jack, we can easily move the trailer where needed over any type of surface. We also like the 3 height settings that reduce the amount of cranking and the removeable hand crank. This is a great jack!
Jack works exactly as advertised and perfect fit for my unique application. Etrailer chat service was instrumental in this successful purchase. Etrailer installation video also very useful.

This jack continues to work awesome.
I was not able to raise the entire jack to a higher position. Fortunately for my uses I did not need to do this. What I do need is to be able to turn the crank so that it easily raises or lowers the wheels. It just makes clicking noises and with hard pressure on a part it can move a little.I have to use my old fixed jack to raise/lower the wheels. This must be an old, inferior model. Big waste of money.
The XO trailer jack is awesome! Wish I had found it before I injured my back trying to disconnect & “right” the original jack on my micro camper on a very uneven, rough site. The adjustability of the jack is unparalleled to any I have used. The dual wheels allowed me to roll my camper out of the garage, onto a gravel driveway with ease (and I am a “senior” female! I have since gotten a new camper and wish I had the XO on it!

Unfortunately, as I said in my initial review, I no longer have camper that I installed the XO on. When I have the money, I plan to put one on my new camper. Best trailer jack Ive ever had!
Complete garbage, had this less for than two years. It’s totally rusted out and the gear stripped. For the price, it should last far longer than a standard boat jack.
This is, by far, the best quality jack I have ever seen! This one should last a lifetime! Thank you!

So far, so good! It allows for me to easily roll the trailer around. The only issue I have is the crank to raiselower ratio. It takes a lot turns to move it a small amount. Overall, superior product!
It only rolls a little better it doesn't lift my boat tongue any easier and 12 in. Lift is not enough for a modern pickup even with a 6in. Drop hitch.kind of regretting my purchase
First, ordering was easy, shipping was fast - super impressed by that. Now, for the jack... what a difference from what the local chains offer. This jack (the 350 version) is compact but built like a tank. Love the engineering. More expensive than the chain store stuff but worth every penny and then some.

After a year I’d still buy it again in a minute - rock solid - as good as it gets.

Huge, huge improvement over the previous economy trailer jack that came with my teardrop trailer. This item is extremely well built. It is also very tuneable as far as its mounting options, so even with a relatively small mounting area available, I was able to find a way to have it fold up cleanly and tightly when in transit. I consider maybe replacing the supplied C-channel brackets and bolts with U-bolts, but the supplied HW is robust and doesn't look too bad after trimming the C-channels to the correct length. I highly recommend the quality of this item, and etrailer has proven to be a tremendous resource as well.
Dual wheels roll easily, even on a gravelly surface. Wide range of lift heights adjusts to various terrains. Download the installation instructions to sort out the metric manufacturing dimensions versus inch measurements of your trailer frame. Worked great on the 2.5" wide, 4" high frame of my US made, bolt together, aluminum frame trailer kit. Worth every penny.
It work very well, but I had make adjustments so the wheel would pivot easier.
Very sturdy.Great quality. Loved the pr ice!

Great! Love it!
This trailer jack is truly "extreme". I was looking for an over-built one that I could count on to take some abuse. This one is perfect. The pins have extra strong springs. The back plate is extra thick. Even though I didn't need to use them, the bolts and brackets it came with are extra beefy. The wheels are extra strong. Basically everything about this jack is completely [awesome]!
My favorite feature is the removable magnetic crank handle. It clicks into place with authority and stows in my tongue box. Also, it looks great too. I'd buy this again in a heartbeat...only thing I'd do different is get it sooner. I put up with the wimpy OEM trailer jack far too long.

This trailer jack has earned its keep this year. Its been worth every penny. I find my self moving my lil camper around wout hooking it up because of this jack. It rolls much better on my driveway and on gravel, especially when you have to change directions. My advice: GET THIS ONE, but choose the longer one. Ive needed a little more height for leveling a couple of times.
Just what I was looking for. A great heavy duty jack with wheels that roll and swivel like butter. My dual Sea-Doo trailer is heavy with both big skis on it. The Xtreme jack with dual ball bearing wheels and slick swiveling caster are what I purchased the unit for. They make it a whole lot easier pushing the trailer in and out of the shop. Remember, you get what you pay for. This trailer jack will not disappoint.

I would buy this again in a heartbeat. Its been a quality top-notch upgrade for the past year. Trouble free, solid as a rock.
I messed up ordered a jack that is to short.I have to put a 4 inch block under wheels to get off truck. My fault it doesn't work properly
As an outdoor writer and boat columnist for over 15 years it's fair to say I have evaluated many products. I selected the Ark Xtreme Trailer Jack because I was looking for highest quality jack with non-marring rubber tires. The jack was an improvement opportunity as I was adding a Fold-Away Tongue to my EZ Loader Trailer, so I was already relocating my jack and figured it was time for an upgrade.
From a quality perspective, I like the 4-bearing, twin wheel assembly. It also cranks nicely, albeit backwards? It also looks like a higher end model when installed, with good fit and finish.
My complaint is, once installed the jack itself lacks the necessary height (12" lift), for my trailer, tow vehicle, and parking dolly... which are not "Too Tall" by any standard. As it is, I'm a press fit to get my trailer tongue high enough to get the trailer latch on the ball mount. Also, the crank works backwards from my other trailer jack, which isn't a big deal, just odd? Not sure I see any value in the "Drop Leg" feature, as it's awkward and not as easy to use as one would expect. I also worry that the magnetic handle might fall off during travel, and will be looking for a clip storage system, because losing the handle would be a big deal.
The trailer jack is not junk by any means, but I struggle to see where its design features are as beneficial as advertised. The tires will meet my needs and not scar our newly poured concrete driveway... which was my highest priority.

Thank you for the thoughtful review Troy. We really appreciate hearing from someone with your experience. We're glad the jack’s build quality and non-marring wheels are working well for you, and we’ll definitely pass along your notes about the lift height, reverse crank direction, drop-leg usability, and magnetic handle.
The installation hardware, bolts and brackets are too short. I have 2 of these and they continue to provide unusable mounting h/w. An extra trip to the local parts store for longer bolts is required. The jack itself is superior design and quality.
Worked perfectly for my application. It has a broad range of potential heights. Heavy duty construction.

a year on – the Ark trailer jack has been fantastic. Sturdy, reliable, makes moving my small square a breeze. It was expensive, but money well spent. The increased convenience is outstanding.
Love the Trailer Jack, very well made and well thought out functionality. Instructions are a bit lacking but nothing anyone can't figure out; however, the bolts to attach it to my trailer were too short, so I had to buy my own bolts.
