Question:

will this spring work on a 10 x 2 1/4 electric brake. I have two broken retractor springs I need to replace. The current retractor spring is a one piece spring but all the ones I find designed for 10 x 2 1/4 are two retractor springs.

If you are going to try and find specific replacement parts for a set of electric trailer brakes then you need to know what brand you have and around the time they were made. If you do not have this then you have two options, trial and error or replace the entire assemblies. I took a look through all of our replacement parts for braking assemblies and the Replacement Brake Spring Set part # K71-362-00 appears to be what you are looking for. If you want to give this a try then you can but I cannot confirm fit and your only other option is need new braking assemblies, the Electric Trailer Brake Kit part # AKEBRK-35 is our most cost effective option.
