Comparing 5 on 4-1/2" and 5 on 5" Trailer Wheels

Hello, is there any advantage to a 5 on 5 bolt pattern vs a 5 on 4.5?

Yes, the 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern in regards to trailer wheels is much more common therefore the selection of wheels will be much greater. The 5 on 5" bolt pattern has a slightly higher capacity but only marginally. I recommend the Dexstar Steel Spoke Trailer Wheel part # AM20422 as a common replacement option but we have other styles attached below if this one does not suite you.
