Can a Bike with 16 Inch Wheels Be Used With the Thule Apex XT 4 Bike Rack

Hi, I have a kids BMX bike that has 16inch wheels see attachment. Will it fit on this rack? Actually I am not even sure if I can put an adapter bar on it, at least the adapter bar for my mountain bike is too long for it and item # SR0500 looks similar to the one I have. Thanks,

Yes, the BMX bike with 16" wheels will fit on the Thule Apex XT 4 Bike Rack part # TH9025XT. However, you will need an adapter bar. As you alluded to, the bike adapter bars are all different lengths. The SportRack Bike Frame Adapter Bar part # SR0500 can go as short as 15-1/4". Therefore, you will need to have this much room between your seat post and handlebar fork post in order for this to work. The shortest bike adapter bar we offer is the Yakima Tube Top Bike Adapter Bar part # Y02531 at 14-1/2" (see photo).
