Wiring configuration for Atwood GC6AA-10E Water Heater

Question:

I have a jayco Jay flight 2077 bhs. I am putting in a gc6aa-10e water heater but the the colors dont match. I have a brown, red, yellow and white coming from my trailer. Blue, green, orange, and white coming from the new water heater. What colors do I connect to each other?

I am not sure what the different wires on your Jayco Jay Flight 2077BHS are connected to but from my understanding the new water heater should be configured as follows:

Blue - Lock Out Lamp
Green - Ground
Orange - Gas Control
White - Electric Control

I have attached a photo showing how the Replacement Double-Panel On/Off Switch for Atwood Gas and Electric Combination Water Heaters # AT91230 should be installed. If you aren't familiar with water heater installations then it would be best to have a qualified installed, service agency, or gas supplier install your new water heater for you to ensure everything is connected properly and safely.
