Replacement Key for 2000 Jayco Eagle Pop Up Camper

Updated 06/24/2020 | Published 06/06/2019

Question:

I need a key or a replace lock for my 2000 Jayco Eagle pop-up camper as the owner that we bought it from did not have any keys. Where can I get a key or replacement lock?

For your 2000 Jayco Eagle Pop-Up Camper I first recommend taking a look at the lock cores themselves on the camper. There should hopefully be a number stamped to them and if it happens to be "CH751" then you can use the Valterra 751 Replacment Keys # A524VP.

This is an extremely common lock core/key combo on trailers (so common in fact that many trailer owners choose to replace the lock assemblies to avoid having neighbors with the same key....) so there is a decent chance that this is what you have on your Jayco.

If you see a different number or nothing at all on the cores then your best option will be to replace the lock altogether. It looks like your Jayco uses a latch similar to the Global Link # 295-000019. This will fit doors that are 1-1/4 inch to 1-1/2 inches thick and installs into latch cutouts that are 2-1/2 inches to 3 inches wide and 3-1/2 inches to 4 inches tall. It includes 2 keys.

I have attached a short video review that you can check out as well.

We don't have anything for that key code, unfortunately. I recommend trying to reach out to Jayco directly to see if they might have these available (or know who does).
