If your powered awning trips the breaker on its motor circuit you might have a mechanical issue that is stopping the awning arms from retracting or the breaker on that circuit may not be the correct value. The motors in items like jacks and awnings will draw more power when they see a heavier load or a mechanical obstruction. You'll want to check the operation of the awning manually using the crank; this may help you determine where the problem is. The awning motor should have some indication as to its power draw and the breaker should match the maximum power required by the motor.
If your manual cranking check reveals a mechanical issue at some point you can take note of the awning part numbers and let us know so we can help you with the correct replacements.
