Installing Trailer Wiring Harness on 2018 Jeep JL Wrangler Thats Also Wired for Flat Towing

Question:
I have a 2018 Wrangler JL Sport S that I have already wired to be flat towed behind our motorhome. I also want to be able to occasionally tow a small trailer behind the Jeep, instead of taking the motorhome. Are there any issues that I should be aware of with having the lights wired for towing and being towed? I have the Blue Ox diode wiring for flat tow and assume that if no problems are anticipated that part # 118786 would be the proper one to use, and would I just simply follow the directions for that installation?

You can absolutely install the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118786 (which is indeed the correct harness for your 2018 Jeep JL Wrangler) on your vehicle that already has a Blue Ox Diode Kit installed for flat towing. The two kits won't interfere with each other and won't cause any type of issue with regards to the electrical system on the Jeep.
When installing the T-One Harness you will follow the attached instructions just like normal, connecting the plugs to the factory ports behind the driver and passenger side tail lights and then running the hot lead up to the battery. I have attached an install video that you can also use for reference.
