What Does Flashing C5 or CS Error Code Of Journey HD Brake Controller Mean

Question:
I have a 2006 gmc 2500 gas my brake box is a Journey HD It keeps on flashing c5 I have checked under the dash to make sure the blue wires were not loose I looked at both fuse boxes fuses are good. Is my controller bad this is driving me crazy. When I plug the trailer into the truck the right side lights dont work HELP PLEASE

The C.5 or C.S error code of the Journey HD brake controller you referenced is for a Charging System Error. Does your trailer have a battery on it? If so, the issue is that the charge wire that runs to it from your vehicle trailer connector has an issue. Most likely a loose wire or short here. I attached a picture that has all of the error codes for the Journey explained as well.
