Will the Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs CSS-1145R Fit a 2016 Ford Expedition 2WD

Question:

I have a 2016 Ford Expedition 2WD EL. Will the SumoSprings part # CSS-1168R work on a 2WD? It is rear wheel drive. I am interested in the SumoSpring to reduce sag when pulling my travel trailer about 5800 lbs. loaded. I was wondering if using the SumoSprings would mess up my weight distribution system Ez lift Max toungue weight 600lbs? Could i just adjust something on the weight dist. system ex. adjust how many chain links I use or would the sumo springs just throw everything off? Thanks!

I spoke with Super Springs about the Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs part # CSS-1168R for your 2016 Ford Expedition. The issue is not that it is not a fit but rather they have not yet had a 2WD model in to test them on. Therefore, in order to confirm compatibility I would need you to take the measurements I have attached for you.

In regards to using the Coil SumoSprings with your E-Z Lift Max Weight Distribution System, this will not be an issue at all but as you mentioned you might need to adjust the number of chains you have hooked up to the brackets. These type of suspension enhancements are commonly used with weight distribution systems without issue.

Any confirmation on whether these supersprings will fit the Expedition EL 2WD? I have the same issue only mine is a 2017 EL but is also 2WD. Any help?

I checked with SuperSprings and there still isn't a confirmed fit for the 2WD 2017 Ford Expedition. Would you be able to take the measurements shown above?
