Ground Clearance for Curt Class II Trailer Hitch on a 2019 Mazda CX-5

Hello, I was wondering how far of the ground the bottom of the hitch is? Thanks,

When we installed the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C12170 on a 2018 Mazda CX-5 we found that from the ground to the bottom of the receiver measured about 12-1/2". I don't think it will be much different for your 2019 Mazda CX-5 but I went out to the warehouse and found that from the center of the rearmost bolt hole to the bottom of the safety chain loops measured about 8-1/4". You can use the attached diagram to take some measurements on your CX-5 to see how far down the trailer hitch receiver will hang.
