I have a Mazda CX-5 and I am looking to add a cargo carrier so I have room inside my vehicle when I travel. I do not have a trailer hitch.

I would be happy to help you find a cargo carrier and set your 2021 Mazda CX-5 up with a new trailer hitch. We'll start out with your hitch, I recommend the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver item # EH68VR. This hitch is custom fit and bolts directly to your CX-5 with included hardware. This hitch has a 2" receiver which will give you the widest range of accessories to choose from and it will have the most capacity if you decide to ever tow a trailer. For your cargo carrier you will want the Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches item # C18151. This carrier is 59" wide by 20" long and is capable of being folded up or tilted down for convenience. It weighs 55 lbs. I have attached a few diagrams I have made that show the different dimensions of this carrier so you can ensure it is the right one for you. The carrier itself has a 500 lbs capacity but you will want to verify with your vehicle manufacturer what your tongue weight capacity is.
