How to Choose Correct Tire Pressure for Goodyear Endurance 225/75R15 Trailer Tires

Question:

I am considering upgrading my Castle Rock 225/75/R15 D rated tire to an E rated tire. My current max PSI is 65, and as I do not need the additional load carry capacity the E-rated tires provide. My GVWR of trailer is 7796 with 2 axles.

Expert Reply:

I recommend the Karrier # AM10303. These tires are load range E with a 2,830 lb capacity when inflated to 80 psi.
