Will Spare Reinstall on 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe after Installing Curt Hitch
Updated 05/08/2019 | Published 05/07/2019 >
Question:
Hi, did you guys have any problems putting the full-size spare tire back in after installing the hitch? I found one review of someone with my vehicle model and year stating that they had a problem with the spare but no else seems to have the same issue. If the full size spare still fits even with the hitch installed, does the hitch make it much more difficult to access the spare when needed? Thank you,

Helpful Expert Reply:
We were able to reinstall the spare of the 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe we installed the Curt hitch part # C13195 on. If you check out the attached install link around the 8:30 mark you can see the spare mounted with the hitch.
When you go to raise and lower the spare you will need to push it back to angle it around the hitch but it won't be too difficult at all.
