Question:
I have a 2016 Jayco class C which is on a E450 Ford chassis. I have a 7 pin plug at the bumper. Looks Factory. Does the E450 come pre-wired for a brake controller? If so where is it located?. I have trailer lights but no brakes. What do you recommend for this vehicle. My Class C is 32 foot long and my car and trailer weigh almost 6500 pounds. My Jayco is rated to haul up to 7500 pounds. Thank you.

If the Ford E-450 cutaway chassis your Class C is built on has a factory 7-way trailer connector it should also have a connection port for a trailer brake controller. You should find this behind the small dash panel shown in the linked photo. The brake controller harness you referenced, part # 3034-P, will work for any Tekonsha or Draw-Tite trailer brake controller, including popular options like the Prodigy P3 # 90195, the P2 # 90885 and the Primus IQ # TK90160.
If it turns out your 7-way was not factory installed (and there is no port behind the dash) then you can still install a trailer brake controller easily so long as the 7-way has an active 12V power circuit. The Curt Echo # C51180 requires no wiring, just a 7-way that has 12V power along with the usual lighting signals for your car trailer. The Echo works with a smartphone (which acts as display and control device) and allows proportional braking like the Tekonsha controllers above but requires nothing to be mounted in the RV. Please see the linked video for more on the Echo.
