Does Blue Ox KarGard Stay on Towed Vehicle and Need Removed Each Time You Drive?

Question:
If I use the Blue Ox Karguard on my Ford Focus, does it need to be removed every time we unhitch and drive the Focus?

Expert Reply:
The Blue Ox KarGard Towed Vehicle Protector # BX8870 does not attach to your vehicle but rather to the tow bar. You will simply disconnect your tow bar from your base plates and you will be able to drive your Focus without any other connections or disconnections needed. I've attached a photo to assist. You can leave the KarGard on the Tow Bar and head out with your Focus.
The KarGard also folds in half so you can disconnect it easily with the pins leaving the mounting base and store it quickly and easily.
