Question:
I just bought a 2019 Subaru Outback 3.6R, and I plan to tow my 2014 Trillium trailer with it. The Trillium has electric brakes and a 7-way connector. What parts wiring kit, brake controller, etc. do I need to wire up the new car?

We have everything you'll need to install and wire up a brake controller and 7-way in your 2019 Subaru Outback Wagon.
The easiest to install brake controller that also happens to be one of the best performing models is the Curt Echo part # C51180. This actually just plugs into a 7-way that has taillight functions and 12 volt accessory power ran to it and once you sync it to your phone you'd be set.
The first thing you'll need wiring-wise is a 4-way (if you don't have one already), for that you'd want the Tekonsha kit part # 118467 because it's very easy to install and very reliable. Then to convert this to a 7-way you'd want the part # ETBC7L which covers the rest of the wiring needed. Basically you just plug in the Tekonsha 4-way to the 4-way of this kit and then run the included wire up to the battery of the vehicle and you'd be all set.
If you needed a hitch too I'd recommend the Draw Tite Class III hitch part # 76227 because it will have plenty of capacity for your trailer and since it has only the hitch opening below the rear bumper it will give you the most concealed look as well.
