You're lining up the trailer in the driveway when you realize the plug doesn't match. No time to rewire. You grab the adapter, plug it in, and the lights fire up. Quick fix, solid connection, and you're back on schedule.
If your vehicle has a 4-way flat and the trailer uses a 7-way blade, this adapter provides a fast, plug-in solution. It handles the basic lighting functions so you can connect and tow without altering your factory wiring.

Hi, everyone, Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a quick look together at this TowSmart trailer connector adapter. It's gonna adapt from four-way flat to a seven-way blade style, round style, however you want to call it. Now, this again is what we call a four-way flat sometimes or a four pole, different names. And this would plug into the backside of your vehicle that already has these functions. And then you're gonna have an additional ground wire.
You're gonna have blue, yellow, and black, and those are gonna give you power to your brakes, maybe auxiliary lighting, and reverse lighting as well. And then of course, you have a seven way that it would go out to, spring-loaded cap. And then of course, you have holes to mount it. There is no bracket and no hardware included. You can purchase that separately.
Some vehicles require long brackets, some require short brackets. That's why they don't include it from the manufacturer. But again, we have all those different options here at etrailer.com. You can call us and let us know what kind of vehicle you have, and we can better help you select the correct bracket if you so choose. Well, that's gonna wrap it up for our look together.
I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.
Great product and service
