How to Find Key Number for Kuat Bike Rack

Question:

How do I find out what key code my hitch rack is? I dont see any numbers on the key or the locks. My key opens both the hitch lock and the cable bike lock on the rack. I need to match the lock on both of those items. Please advise. Thanks

The integrated locks for your Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack like # NV22B will have the key number stamped both on the keys themselves and on the lock cores right above the key slot. The numbers on the keys are pretty small and hard to read but there should be a clear stamped number on the cores.

Once you locate this number it's just a matter of finding the matching replacement cores on the page I linked below. If you still can't find the numbers please let me know or email me a picture of your keys and lock core and I will be happy to take a look.

I need keys for the hitch lock with the number 108 above the key slot.I believe the cable locks should use the same key number or N008How can I purchase these keys?

Kuat no longer offers specific replacement keys or lock cylinders that match a specific key number. This means your only option now is to simply replace both your lock cores with new ones that use the same key - you can use part # LOCO.
