What should I do if one of the weld nuts are stripped out,thanks for taking question

If one of the weld nuts on your vehicle is stripped then your only option to install the Curt Class I Trailer Hitch # C11265 is really to obtain a screw tap from a local hardware store so that you can make the weld nut accept a slightly larger bolt. You will then need to get new grade 5 bolts to match your tap.
Before doing this you can also try cleaning the weld nut out with a spray lubricant and wire brush just to make sure it isn't built up corrosion or debris that's preventing the hitch hardware to thread into place. I have attached a video demonstrating this process that you can take a look at as well.
