How to Install a 7-Way Connector on a 2007 New Body Chevy Silverado

Question:
2007 chev. pickup. I dont have a pigtail on the pickup. Under the frame I have four different plugs, all plugged into a panel. blue on the left, orange to the right , gray on the top and black on the bottom. Which one do I connect to and what kind of plug will do.

It sounds like you have the New Body style of the 2007 Chevy Silverado. The picture you sent in is close to where you will need to install a 7-Way connector. If you check out the attached photo you can see where the round US Car Connector plugs in to the back of the dummy plug in your rear bumper. Disconnect the US Car Connector and then remove the dummy plug. Once this is done you simply install the Twist-in, 7-Pole, RV-Style Trailer Connector # PK11916 where the dummy plug was and then install the US Car Connector to the back of this connector. I have attached a video of this being done on a 2007 GMC Sierra that you can reference.
