Will my ReadyBrute Elite tow bar be compatible with this base plate

According to my research, the ReadyBrute Elite Tow Bar would have came with clevis connectors to attach to either a Roadmaster or Blue-Ox tow bar. If your tow bar came with the Roadmaster clevis connectors (857768004296) then they will attach directly to the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit part # RM-524444-5 which is a fit for your 2016 Ford Edge.
However, if your tow bar came with the Blue-Ox clevis connectors (857768004265) then you will need to use the Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit part # RM-524454-4 with the Roadmaster Tow Bar Adapter part # RM-032 instead. The Roadmaster clevis connectors (857768004296) have 3/4" pins whereas the Blue-Ox clevis connectors (857768004265) have 1/2" pins.
