Just found out it is a 2012. Will this same hitch fit?

Although the VIN would help to determine the model year of your Mercedes-Benz GL450, in this case the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13190 fits both a 2013 and a 2014 model year so determining which model year you have doesn't matter for the trailer hitch.
