Question:

My 2019 F250 CCSB 4x4 has a hitch measurement of 26 1/8” from top of receiver opening to ground. My 23’ toyhauler has approx 1000lb tongue weight with a measurement of 22” to bottom of coupler. I’m looking for a 2 1/2” shank to replace my old 2” shank for a BXW 1500 Sway Pro WDH. Will part ## EQ90-02-4800 work with Blue Ox Sway Pro. Does Blue Ox make a 4” shank by 2 1/2”?

You can go in either of 2 ways to use your Blue Ox Sway Pro 2-inch weight distribution hitch # BXW1500 in your new Ford truck that has a 2-1/2-inch hitch.

One way is to keep using everything you already own and to simply add a hitch reducer sleeve like B&W part # BWRHXA2182 which slides into the 2-1/2-inch receiver and reduces it to the 2-inch size for your existing Sway Pro shank. If you already have other 2-inch hitch accessories like a cargo carrier or bike rack then the reducer sleeve will allow all of them to fit your new hitch.

The other way is to replace the 2-inch Blue Ox shank with a 2-1/2-inch one, such as the Equal-I-zer part # EQ90-02-4800 (for up to 4-inches of drop) or # EQ90-02-4900 (for up to 6-inches of drop).

All WD shanks are standardized for hole size and spacing so brands are cross-compatible.
