Question:

I just received a Draw-Tite 2-1/2inch to 2inch reducer sleeve for my 2021 F250 Truck. I will be pulling my 28foot travel trailer with it. Im a little concerned because when reading the reviews, no one mentioned pulling a trailer. The only mention was bike racks and other accessories. Will I be ok pulling my trailer with this reducer sleeve? Thanks

Reducer sleeves like the # BWRHXA2182 are often used for accessories, but it is perfectly acceptable to use them for towing as well. As long as it is just a reducer, and not a reducer and extension, it will not impact your towing capacity. If you got a reducer and extender like the # e53YR it will also reduce the capacity of the hitch by 50%.
