Question:
My new truck 2022 RAM 2500 has a 2.5inch receiver for the hitch. My toy hauler has a tongue weight of 1,200 lbs. Its tow weight is around 14,000-15,000 I am having trouble finding a configuration that works. I dont necessarily want to reduce to a 2inch receiver, but dont see any options for the 2.5inch and dont want to spend a boat load of money on it. Thank you!!

I recommend the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System # EQ64FR for your toy hauler. This hitch is rated for a trailer up to 16,000lbs with a tongue weight of 1,200-1,600lbs. It includes a 2-1.2" receiver so there is no need for a Reducer # BWRHXA2182 in your receiver. This hitch includes sway control built into the weight distribution arms making it safer to tow on the highway and in high winds. You will not need to remove any parts of the hitch to back up or maneuver your toy hauler unlike other systems.
You will need a 1-7/8" 12pt Thin Walled Socket # ALL643216 to install the included 2-5/16" hitch ball.
