Pop & Lock System that Allows Use of Trucks Key Fob for Undercover LUX Tonneau Cover

Question:

Cover: UnderCover LUX Truck: 2016 Chevy Colorado Just want to confirm this will work on my truck and cover. Will the truck FOB be able to lock/unlock the cover? Will I loose my manual locking/unlocking capability?

The Pop & Lock Remote Keyless Entry Kit part # PAL9000 is compatible with your Undercover LUX ABS composite hard tonneau cover. The Pop & Lock keyless entry part # PAL9000 kit comes with it's own key fob so you are not able to lock or unlock the cover with your Colorado's key fob. You are not able to use the truck's key fob because this particular Pop & Lock kit does not wire into your vehicle's power lock system. The kit replaces the latches of the Tonneau cover to allow the cover to open with a button that you can install in the cab of the truck but does not allow you to manually lock the cover.

If you want to unlock/lock the LUX cover with your truck's key fob, I recommend Pop & Lock kit part # PAL9555. This Pop & Lock kit allows you to add power locks to your LUX cover and wire them into the powered locks in the truck. The lock on the cover now locks with the truck's key fob. It also comes with a locking handle with two keys to manually unlock the LUX cover if needed.
