Will EcoHitch for 2019 Subaru Crosstrek Allow Clearance for 1UP Bike Rack to Fold Up
Updated 03/20/2019 | Published 03/19/2019 >
Question:
What is the distance from the face of the receiver hitch to the bumper of the car? My 1UP bike rack can only extend 3 inches from the hitch and I need to know if the rack will fold without hitting the car 2019 Crosstrek. When folded, the rack sits 3inch from the receiver face.

From the center of the hitch pin hole of the EcoHitch part # 306-X7365 out to the furthest point out on the rear bumper measures 3 inches. This would be easily more than enough clearance since you measured from the hitch opening to the back of your bike rack. Since the distance I gave is from a closer point to the front of the car it means you'd have more clearance for the dimension you used. You can verify this though by measuring from the hitch pin of your rack out to the back of the upright mast of it. It should be more than 3 inches easily.
