On the RoadMaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar, part # RM-520, usually one of the Autowlok buttons will require more pressure to release. This is the arm that has most of the tension between your motor home and your 2002 Jeep Liberty.
If the Autowlok button(s) are hard to release, turn the towed vehicles (Jeep) steering wheel as far as it can go to the left or right, then as far as it can go in the other direction. Then, straighten out the steering wheel until the front wheels are in line with the motor home. This should help relieve some of the tension on the bars and help the buttons to release.
If the buttons are still hard to release I would recommend the RoadMaster Release Tool, part # RM-066. This is a steel bar that can be used to give you leverage when pushing down on the Autowlok buttons. I am including a link to a video review of the Falcon 2 tow bar that will show the release tool being used.
