Hitch Extension Recommendation That Has Weight Capacity for Horse Trailer

Question:

I need to extend my hitch. I have a truck camper that extends out. I need to pull a 3 horse trailer. Will the longer hitch be safe to pull a live loop load.

If you have a 2-1/2 inch size trailer hitch (opening of the hitch measured) then you could use a longer extension like the # C45048 which can be between 24 and 34 inches long. Most extenders don't have a whole lot of weight capacity but this one when at 24 inches in length has a capacity of 6,000 lbs. Most likely this would be enough length but without knowing more info it's harder to say.
