Does OEM Rear Sway Bar Need to be Removed for Roadmaster Bar on a 2005 Chevy Kodiak RV
Published 01/15/2019 >
Question:
does this mount behind the rear axle and the one that came with the rv stay on or do you have to remove the original one and replace it with this one
asked by: Anthony R
Expert Reply:
The Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar # RM-1109-157 mounts on/behind your rear axle and is designed to work in conjunction with the OEM sway bar on your 2005 Chevrolet Kodiak RV so you will not remove the one currently installed.
I have attached the installation instructions for you to check out as well.
Please note the following tech tip that we have attached to the product:
Rear leaf spring hanger brackets may be bolted or riveted on. When riveted, install time will increase. Manufacture codes can be found under the driver side visor: EV8 = Rivets ; EV9 = Bolts
