Question:

I want to make sure that this RM 46GR is the correct part for my 2016 Ram 3500 4x4 Longbed 4.6 Hemi with no factory sway bar. I was confused by the conflicting information saying the RM73FR was the one?

Hey Brent, thanks for reaching out! Yes, you're on the right track. The Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar # RM46GR is the correct option for your 2016 Ram 3500 4x4 long bed without a factory rear sway bar. Just keep in mind this kit is designed for trucks at stock ride height and is not compatible with factory air suspension or a gooseneck hitch.

The # RM73FR you mentioned is designed for newer Ram trucks starting with the 2019 model year, so it's not the correct option for your 2016.

Are you looking to improve stability while towing a trailer or carrying a truck camper?

I am looking to eliminate considerable sway when I carry my tall, heavy slide in camper. My other approach is to install aftermarket HD shocks. Any suggestions?

@Brent Yes, a sway bar will definitely help with that. Beefing up the rear suspension will also help if you haven't done that already. Something like an air bag kit or SumoSprings would make a noticeable difference in stability when under a load. What kind of camper do you have in the bed? Know roughly how much it weighs? Let me know and I can make some recommendations.

@JesseM I have a Bigfoot series 2500 10.6. It weighs about 4,200 lb loaded. My truck is a SRW. I already have installed stable loads on the rear springs. But I still have the factory shocks.
