Question:

Im looking at a Keystone toyhauler with a Lippert 381769 pinbox on it. I want to know if the 20k lb. reese goose box gooseneck adapter would fit the pin box on the trailer? I searched online and can find anything!

I spoke with my contact at Lippert who said that your Lippert pin box 381769 is also known as their 1116 pin box # LC1270271. Although there are (discontinued) Reese Goose Boxes that will fit your 1116 pin box none of them are rated for 20K like you are asking about.

I recommend going with an adapter like the Convert-A-Ball Adapter # CAB-C5G which connects your 1116 pin box to a gooseneck hitch ball and has that 20K weight rating you are looking for. This essentially turns your pin box into a Goose Box as you would just leave it installed on the pin box.

Please note that this adapter is not recommended for use with Reese Elite Series gooseneck trailer hitches. It is also not recommended for use with factory-installed towing prep packages from Ford 2011 to present or Ram 2013 to present.
