Question:
Hello, We have a 2015 Subaru Forester and will generally carry 4 MTBs. Can the forester handle of the weight of this rack and 4 bikes? It does have the 2inch hitch.

Expert Reply:
2 inch hitches generally have quite a bit of tongue weight capacity but you might still check the capacity of the hitch you have installed on your 2015 Subaru Forester to make sure the weight of the Kuat NV 2.0 part # NV22G-NA22G plus your bikes would not exceed the capacity. The NV itself has a weight of 108 lbs.
The 2 inch hitches we have for your vehicle like the # e98839 have a tongue weight capacity of 525 lbs which would be more than adequate.
