Hi Michelle!
We actually do post the install times for hitches. For the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Matte Black Finish - Class III - 2" # e98839 going onto your 2018 Subaru Forester, we have it listed as taking 40 minutes (see included image).
Just keep in mind this is an average we came up with for someone with a moderate amount of DIY experience. It may go quicker if you have a lot, or it might take a bit longer if you don't have a lot. There is no drilling needed (you can also see the drill in a circle with a line going through it indicating that in the image), though you will need to enlarge a couple of the holes with a rotary tool to get the spacers to fit inside the frame.

It took me about an hour. The bet I was using was dull. What was brand new? That was a cheap one wouldn’t cut the mail very good to make the whole larger, but I got her done. It worked awesome no problem at all. Just did what they said to do and it all worked fine
