Question:
I did take your suggestion and purchase the Tekonsha Prodigy RF Wireless Trailer Brake Controller. Will it work if I install it inside my in closed trailer or under the trailer out of sight there is little room at the hitch to install the unit. I have a 7 x 23 foot Legend in closed trailer with a front down door to drive ATVs in and then drive out the back made in Alma Mi. the tong of the trailer is about 1.6 Ft. long. Sorry I cant down load pictures form my phone.

I attached a picture that I got from Tekonsha that lists all of the mounting locations for the RF # 90250 that they recommend. As long as the box is sitting level and the cable is pointing towards the front of the trailer though you'd be okay to mount it on the interior of a trailer.
