Looking for a trailer hitch for my 2018 Countryman so I can transport my bikes to the trail. What do you recommend?

The only trailer hitch that is currently available for your 2018 Mini Countryman is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11522 which is a Class I trailer hitch with a 1-1/4" receiver. Even though it is the only fit at this time it is still a great trailer hitch that has a very clean look once installed due to the crossbeam being hidden behind the bumper (see attached photo).
Please note that since this is a Class I trailer hitch you are limited to a 2 bike rack and that per the Curt warranty a support strap like part # 18050 must be used for all non-trailer loads.
If you don't already have a bike rack then I highly recommend the Kuat Beta # B202-114 because it has a lightweight aluminum construction (only weighs 12.6 lbs) which makes installation easier and does an excellent job resisting corrosion. This rack comes completely assembled and it uses an integrated anti-rattle knob to help take any movement out of the bike rack during travel. You can add locks to this rack with parts # HL1 and # e98891. If you end up wanting to use this with a 2" hitch receiver then you can also use the adapter # D101 which would then mean you need to use the lock # HL2.
