I have a 2018 Mazda 3 Hatchback that I want a hitch for so I can install a bike rack, what should I get?

The hitch I recommend for your 2018 Mazda 3 for carrying a bike rack is the Draw Tite part # 24914 because unlike the Curt hitch that fits your vehicle part # C11377 it does not require the use of a stabilizer strap when carrying a bike rack like you mentioned wanting to do.

For a bike rack the Thule DoubleTrack part # TH92BJ is what I recommend. This is a platform rack which means it much easier to load and unload as well as holding the bikes a bit more securely. What separates this rack for others similar is that the clamp system allows it to fit basically any bike frame style easily and the weight of the rack is a bit less at 35 lbs than other platform bike racks. Normally the big downside to platform racks is price and weight but this rack is lighter weight and not crazy expensive so it's a really great option.
