I have a camper shell installed in the bed of my 2018 Ram 3500 and need a hitch extender so that I can tow a trailer too. My hitch is 2-1/2 inch size from the factory.

For your 2018 Ram 3500 with a factory 2-1/2 inch hitch the Curt Hitch Extension and Reducer for 2-1/2" Trailer Hitches - 24" to 34" Long # C45048 would be what i recommend. It can give you either a 24 inch or 34 inch long extension and will fit your hitch as it was designed for 2-1/2 inch hitches. I attached a picture that shows a similar setup using this extension for you to check out as well. You'll also need to extend the 7-way too with a kit like the part # TLW6021.
