Electric Brakes for 10 Wheels on a Snowmobile Trailer

I am looking to replace my hydraulic brakes with electric brakes and i think i need these brakes AKEBRK-2 could you please confirm this the wheels are 10 inch i also need the correct drums for the electric brakes. Thanks,

The Electric Trailer Brake Kit # AKEBRK-2 that you referenced should be the correct size to replace your hydraulic brakes for your 10" wheels. You can quickly verify this by measuring the diameter of your current brakes.

You should be able to use the Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # AKHD-545-2-1K but you need to verify that the # L44649 inner and outer bearings match what you currently have as well as the 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern.

You also need a 7-Way connector on your trailer like the etrailer # HS381-9000 as well as 10 Gauge Wire # 10-1-1, and a Breakaway Kit # 20099.

Self-adjusting brakes #AKEBRK-7-SA do not require that you travel in reverse for them to adjust. They can adjust themselves going forward or backward. Keep in mind that even self-adjusting brakes require 1 initial adjustment. You could just install…
