Hello! I have a 2018 Dodge Durango and looking for a hitch and wiring that I would need to pull a lighter trailer. No tow package. Thanks for your help.

Starting with the trailer hitch I recommend the Draw-Tite Class III Max Frame Receiver Hitch # DT38MR because of its hidden design. This is the only hitch available for your 2018 Dodge Durango that will actually sit behind the rear bumper fascia panel so you won't even know it's there when you aren't towing. This also allows for excellent ground clearance. I have attached a couple images of this hitch installed on the 2018 Durango to show this. It has a 6,000 pound towing weight capacity.

I have included an installation video that you can also use for reference.

Then for trailer wiring I recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118617. This custom harness will install by simply plugging into factory ports located behind the driver and passenger side tail lights and then running the hot lead up to the battery. It will provide you with a 4-way connector to connect with and power a trailer's basic signal lights. This harness features the highest amp rating available for your Durango and Tekonsha is very well known for producing reliable and long-lasting products.
