The Reese Quick-Install Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # RP50082-58 is a custom bracket kit for your 2004 Ford F-250 and replaced the Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch Custom Installation Kit with Brackets and Rails - Ford Super Duty 1999-04 # 50043-6008. I reached out to my tech contact and the brackets of the # RP50082-58 have more access holes and the tabs are slightly different. It also comes with more hardware, so it installs differently around the frame. The installation of the newer kit is easier, so those are the differences.
Either kit will work well for your truck. You may be interested in adding the Mighty Cord 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole Connector - 7' Long # A10-7007 to give you a second 7-way in the bed of your truck for easy access connection and a clean look.
