Question:
What is the height of the rack including the slide stops when installed on a truck. I have a 7 foot height residential garage door and I want to make sure my truck will still be able to be kept in the garage. You state the upright is 29 inches, but does that include the cross bar and travel stops?

I checked with Erickson and loadstops on the bars of the Erickson Truck Bed Ladder Rack # EM07705 add 6 inches to the height of the bars. That means that the overall height of the rack from the top of the bed rails to the top of the load stops will be 35 inches.
